I come from the holy waters
I am from the sacred grounds
where love grows out of earth
reaching to the skies
embracing every cell
where life finds shelter
where gathering around the fire
reflecting the glistening of the lakes, the ponds, the rivers, the seas
not only lights up the woods
but more than this the soul in mine
to be found in every single drop of water
in every single tree
so when you cut one down
when you soil the core of life
its waters
you will kill a part of me
the human
multiplied by the billions
