Something sacred

Lapis Lazuli, Tanzanite, Laser Quartz, Red Quartz, Aquamarine, Kyanite and Blackbird Feathers

Cradle something worthless
a shard of starlight that forgot its sky
a feather shed by no known wing
a silence folded into the shape of an object
do not question it
the constellations themselves are mistakes
that learned how to glow
so take the broken thing
the almost-thing
the thing that failed at being held correctly
put it in your pocket
next to the echo of a name
you no longer answer to
there will come a night
when the heavens loosen their geometry
and the moon dissolves into a listening eye
on that night
keys will no longer be forged
they will be remembered
and memory will refuse metal
so keep the useless thing close
let it gather the dust of passing comets
let it drink the pale breath of eclipses
it is not waiting
it is becoming
between one heartbeat and the next
you will find yourself
before a gate made of distances
hinged on the absence of time
locked by the question no language survived
and something vast
will lean toward you
as a recognition
it will not ask who you are
it will not ask why you came
it will ask
what did you carry
when nothing needed carrying
and you
with trembling hands
will offer the useless thing
now faintly burning
with a light that does not belong to light
then the gate
which was never closed
will remember how to open
and the stars
all of them
will rearrange themselves
around the small impossible gravity
of what you chose not to discard

Not belonging

Quartz
Quartz, Morganite

There is a quiet ache in your soul
a pulse between worlds
a sense of being here yet not from here
you drift through shadows and light
feeling the currents beneath the surface
sensing everything
while your own place trembles like mist

belonging is a question you carry
as a secret
sometimes sought in love
sometimes in leaving before the world can claim you

and you learn
not belonging is a sacred path
it is the courage to name yourself
to see from the edges
to love without dissolving
to weave a home from your own silence

perhaps you were never meant to fit
perhaps you were meant
to bend the air
to shimmer between forms
to shape the space simply by being
belonging was never a place
it was a light
you were always becoming

it was the way back home to love

I love

Hiddenite, Rose Quartz, Strawberry Quartz and dried Rose petals
Hiddenite, Rose Quartz, Strawberry Quartz and dried Rose petals

I do not love lightly
I gather moments like stones
weigh them in my palm
until they speak their true name

sometimes my heart is a door
opening in opposite directions at once
wind enters
fire enters
holy stilness remains answering in sacred tongues

I have known the tremor of almost-belonging
the electric edge of standing close
to what could change me forever
still, I stand
still, I build
refusing cages even made of gold light

I am learning the language
of holding and letting go
in the same breath

those who meet me
sense an ancient practice of becoming
through a thousand unfinished beginnings
I do not love lightly

yet I love

as love is the only thing

I know to be true

Somewhere here

Morganite, Aquamarine, Green Beryl, Quartz and Amazonite

Somewhere in this infinity

the ending is present

the beginning too

like a circled map

forever here

yet still evolving elsewhere

like the skies

like your soul

like eternity in a single breath of air

so when you rise

know there is nothing to fear

nothing to lose

know that all is there

waiting for you

to awaken

to yourself
