For all that I have been and for all that I will become

I will always remain the one that stands at the horizon

with fragments of stories gathered from distant lands

weaving them gently into meaning

and if the reason for this existence escapes me

galaxies bend around my fragile pulse
comets trace the edges of thought I cannot name

stars pulse in the hollows of my mind
nebulas fold around my gentle heart
time stretches, bends, and sighs
and I am both infinite and trembling

I breathe the dark between suns
I ride the swirl of unseen currents
each heartbeat a nova
each reflection a universe unfolding

a radiant thread threads through the unknown
pulling me gently toward unseen dawns

I am not lost
I am expansion in motion
a horizon that has no end
a body of light shaking in endless sky
starlight, awake in mystery
rising, ever rising, into the vastness of the possible
